Creative Collaboration for Sustainable Cities

Workshop
13:00
26 Nov 2025
Kasárne/Kulturpark, Kukučínova 2, Košice

Join us for a dynamic half-day workshop that brings together creative and cultural professionals, producers, and policymakers to explore how culture can lead the way in creating circular and sustainable cities. The session invites participants to learn, share, and co-create practical strategies for sustainable cultural production and impact measurement within the cultural and creative industries.
Facilitated by Julie’s Bicycle Europe in collaboration with Creative Industry Košice, the workshop blends hands-on exercises, inspiring case studies, and collaborative ideation. The participants will examine what sustainability means in creative practice, how to measure and communicate our impact, and how to turn policy goals into actionable steps. Participants will co-design ideas for greener cultural production and discover new opportunities for circular approaches in Košice’s creative ecosystem.

A key aim of the workshop is to promote a sustainable lifestyle in city center — connecting local communities and urban spaces through cultural activity, in ways that make sustainable living visible, accessible, and inspiring. Whether you’re already advancing sustainable production or just starting out, this session will help you build confidence, connect with peers, and uncover how creative collaboration can make cities more resilient and vibrant places to live.
