Art & Tech Conference: CROSSROADS.

The Art & Tech Conference is the flagship day of the festival – and, in this tenth edition, a chance to bring a decade of conversations to a head. The format remains what it has always been: a full programme of keynotes, dialogues and encounters designed for people who think across boundaries, and whose work increasingly demands that they do.

The questions facing us – about artificial intelligence and accountability, climate and habitability, the future of culture, identity and the public sphere – refuse to stay inside their disciplines. They are technological and cultural, social and ecological, all at once. They demand thinking that is equally unbounded.

The speaker line-up reflects the four registers of Crossroads. Artists, scientists, designers, technologists and cultural leaders share the stage. We are especially interested in voices that hold complexity rather than collapse it into slogans – speakers who can offer a different, sometimes inconvenient, sometimes hopeful, perspective on the moment we are in.

Who it’s for: creative professionals, technologists, scientists, cultural leaders, public-sector innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, students — anyone whose work sits at a crossroads, or who wants it to.

Whether you come for the ideas, the encounters, the artworks or the conversations that spill into the evening, you are warmly welcome to Košice for our tenth year.

Art & Tech Days is organised by Creative Industry Košice (CIKE) in partnership with EIT Culture & Creativity, the European network advancing the cultural and creative industries across the continent.
