Mirror and the Sun

“Once upon a time, I read an unexpectedly simple and at the same time profound reflection by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, in which he described the principle of our world towards the creator using the example of a mirror and the sun. If we have one mirror, we see one sun in the reflection, but if the mirror shatters into a thousand pieces, we see a thousand reflections of the same sun. A world made up of fragments of stories, a thousand individuals who weave a disparate yet single dynamic picture of the best world we know. In the noise of excess data and information, on the edge between movement, light and sound, between analog and digital, in the overlapping of media, there is an invisible unity in which we are each a little like everyone else.”

The artistic performance entitled Mirror and the Sun will draw you into a world where analog media overlap with digital ones. The performance combines elements of dance, movement with the digital world and music. The live performance will take place exclusively on this evening and the audience will become a part of it for a moment.

In his artistic work, Boris Vaitovič is dedicated to relativizing established patterns of thinking and exploring the historical connection between science and art. Recently, he has been involved in ecologically focused projects and presents his works, often in the Art & Science segment, at domestic and foreign exhibitions and festivals.

The artistic performance is part of the All in One Cocktail event, which will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the House of Arts in Košice from 6:30 PM and is being created in collaboration with Business Košice, Creative Industry Košice and the Startup Awards Slovakia (SASK) team.
